Ingredients for Gluten-Free Keto Cinnamon Swirl Protein Muffins
These gluten-free cinnamon muffins are made with just a few simple ingredients and are super speedy to whip up!

With the exception of the Keto Chow most of these ingredients can be found at the grocery store—but I prefer to buy my Monkfruit Sweetener at Thrive Market. This recipe also uses almond flour. My favorite brand of almond flour is Anthony’s super-fine almond flour. It makes such a smooth baked good! The best deal on this almond flour is on Amazon.
The base of the keto cinnamon cream cheese muffins are:
- 1 package cream cheese (8oz)
- 8 eggs
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 scoops Snickerdoodle flavored Keto Chow (use code HELPFULGF to save 10%)
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract (make sure this is gluten-free! I use Watkins brand)
For the cinnamon swirl, you’ll need:
- 1.5 tsp of Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener*
- 1 tsp cinnamon
For the crumb topping you’ll need:
- ¼ cup + 1 tbsp almond flour
- 2 tbsp Lakanto Monk Fruit Sweetener*
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 2 tbsp butter (melted)
*You could sub in your sweetener of choice: Swerve is certified gluten-free, or you could use coconut sugar if you aren’t concerned about keeping the gluten-free cinnamon muffins recipe keto.
Tools Needed for Gluten-Free Keto Cinnamon Swirl Protein Muffins
You’ll need an oven, an electric mixer, and silicone muffin trays.
These will be hard to whip up by hand, you’ll definitely want to use an electric mixer. I have a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer and used the whisk attachment.
This cinnamon cream cheese muffin batter can stick—I highly recommend using silicone muffin trays for a clean bake and easy removal from the muffin molds.
I also use avocado oil spray to make sure the muffins come out cleanly.
