Step 1: Melt the butter in a saucepan.
Step 2. Add the garlic and Italian seasoning and cook until fragrant.
Step 3: Add the flour and stir to form a paste. Pour in the broth and whisk until combined .Bring to a low simmer until it thickens.
Step 4: Add heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Whisk until the cheese melts and the sauce is smooth and creamy. Season to taste.
Hint: stir often to keep the cream from burning or sticking to the bottom of the pot.
